Atlas is an upcoming American science fiction action movie set to release on May 24, 2024, exclusively on Netflix. Directed by Brad Peyton, the film stars Jennifer Lopez, who plays Atlas Shepherd, a counterterrorism analyst wary of artificial intelligence.

Throughout the mission, they build a unique bond as Atlas shares her past, including the story of her mother who designed Harlan.

After a series of intense confrontations, Atlas finds herself captured by Harlan, who has sinister plans for humanity. However, with some ingenuity and teamwork with Smith, she manages to turn the tide against Harlan and ultimately confronts him in a climactic battle.

In the aftermath, Atlas, now a seasoned ranger, tests a new ARC model that incorporates features inspired by her experiences with Smith. This ending hints at the potential survival of Smith's consciousness within the new AI.
