Back in Hiddenville, the Thundermans grapple with adjusting to their new normal. While parents Hank and Barb enjoy their time away from superhero duties, their children Billy and Nora seek to fit in at high school. Meanwhile, Max and Phoebe are determined to reclaim their superhero identities, leading to amusing and heartfelt moments.

As the plot unfolds, the children of the villains, including Dark Mayhem Jr. and She-Crab, plan to release a dangerous element from the Power Plant that could harm the citizens of Metroburg.
