Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra Anna Daddario, born on 16 March 1986 in New York City, is a well-known American actress. She gained significant recognition for her role as Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series, which spanned from 2010 to 2013. Daddario has starred in a variety of films, including Hall Pass (2011), Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013), San Andreas (2015), Baywatch (2017), and We Summon the Darkness (2019).

In 2021, she featured in the inaugural season of the HBO satirical series The White Lotus, receiving acclaim and a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. In 2023, she took on the lead role in the AMC horror series Mayfair Witches.

Daddario is the eldest child of Christina, a lawyer, and Richard Daddario, a former head of the New York City Police Department's counterterrorism unit. She has a heritage that includes Italian, Irish, English, and Slovak roots. Daddario has two younger siblings, Matthew and Catharine, both of whom are also actors. Her grandfather, Emilio Q. Daddario, served as a Democratic Congressman from Connecticut from 1959 to 1971.

Raised on Manhattan's Upper East Side, Daddario attended the Brearley School and the Professional Children's School. She decided to pursue acting at the age of 11, expressing a passion for storytelling. Although she attended Marymount Manhattan College, she left her studies to focus on acting full-time, dedicating years to mastering the Meisner acting technique.

Daddario made her television debut at the age of 15 in the soap opera All My Children. Her breakout role came in 2010 when she starred as Annabeth Chase in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. She also had a recurring role in the series White Collar as Kate Moreau and appeared in Parenthood as Rachel.

In 2012, she featured in the music video for Imagine Dragons' hit song Radioactive, which amassed over a billion views on YouTube. Daddario played the lead role in Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) and reprised her role in the sequel, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, later that year. She appeared in various other projects, including the anthology series True Detective in 2014, where her performance received considerable attention.

Her career continued to flourish with roles in films such as San Andreas (2015) and the reboot of Baywatch (2017), where she portrayed Summer Quinn. Daddario also starred in the romantic comedy When We First Met (2018), and she showcased her versatility in the psychological thriller Night Hunter (2018).

In 2021, she starred in The White Lotus and appeared in the film Die in a Gunfight. Her performance earned her widespread acclaim, and she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022. On the personal front, Daddario has been in a committed relationship with producer Andrew Form since around 2020. The couple got engaged on 2 December 2021 and married in June 2022. In July 2024, Daddario announced her pregnancy following a previous miscarriage, and on 31 October 2024, she celebrated the birth of her first child.
