Aya Asahina (朝比奈彩, _Asahina Aya_) was born on 06 October 1993 in Sumoto City, located in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. She is a multi-talented individual, known for her work as a model, actress, and YouTuber.
Aya is the eldest of two siblings and has one younger brother. After completing her education at Hyogo Prefectural Sumoto Technical High School, she worked as a midwife's assistant at a local clinic focusing on obstetrics and gynecology for about a year and a half. During this time, an acquaintance suggested she try her hand at modeling, which led to her recruitment by E-Smile, a talent agency, in 2013. She initially worked as a race queen under the stage name Aya Kitagawa (北川 彩).
In 2014, she transitioned to working under her real name, Aya Asahina, after joining the Ikushima Planning Office. Her career took a significant leap when she won the grand prize at the DHC Cinderella Awards on 13 October that year.
