Moon Jeong-hee was born on January 12, 1976, in South Korea. She is a talented actress known for her impactful performances in both film and television.

Moon graduated from the Korea National University of Arts, where she earned a degree in Theatre Studies. Her acting journey began in 1998 with a role in the musical Blood Brothers.

Over the years, Moon has crafted a diverse portfolio, oscillating between leading and supporting roles. Her breakout performance came in the 2012 film Deranged, where she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards. She continued to impress audiences with her roles in Hide and Seek (2013), Cart (2014), and the television drama Mama (2014).

In addition to acting, Moon is skilled in salsa dancing; she began learning it in middle school and has even taught it during breaks from her acting career.
