Yvonne Strahovski

Yvonne Jaqueline Strzechowski, professionally known as Yvonne Strahovski, was born on 30 July 1982 in Werrington Downs, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. She is an acclaimed Australian actress recognized for her dynamic performances across various television series and films.

Strahovski’s notable roles include Sarah Walker in the popular spy comedy-drama series Chuck (2007–2012), Hannah McKay in the drama series Dexter (2012–2013), and Kate Morgan in the event series 24: Live Another Day (2014). Currently, she stars as Serena Joy Waterford in the critically acclaimed series The Handmaid's Tale (2017–present), earning multiple nominations for prestigious awards such as the Primetime Emmy and the Golden Globe.

Throughout her career, Strahovski has appeared in a variety of films, including The Guilt Trip (2012), Killer Elite (2011), and The Tomorrow War (2021). After three years of professional theater work in Australia, she auditioned for Chuck while in the U.S. and landed the role of Sarah Walker, which propelled her career forward.
