Dune

Dune (officially titled Dune: Part One) is a 2021 American epic space opera directed by Denis Villeneuve. This film presents the first part of a two-part adaptation of Frank Herbert's acclaimed 1965 novel. The story is set in a distant future and follows Paul Atreides, heir to the noble House Atreides, as his family becomes embroiled in a conflict over the desert planet Arrakis, the only source of the incredibly valuable substance known as "spice."
