Predator

Predator, released on 12 June 1987, is an American science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan. The film features Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch Schaefer, the leader of a specialized paramilitary team. The crew's mission is to rescue hostages from a guerrilla-held area in a Central American jungle, but they soon encounter a deadly alien hunter known as the Predator, played by Kevin Peter Hall.

The screenplay was written by brothers Jim and John Thomas, originally titled Hunter. Production began in March 1986 and wrapped up in June 1986, with a budget ranging from $15 million to $18 million. Upon its release, the film grossed approximately $98.3 million worldwide.

In the movie, Dutch and his elite rescue team, which includes characters played by Carl Weathers, Elpidia Carrillo, and Bill Duke, set out to locate and rescue a cabinet minister.
