Liam Neeson

William John Neeson (born 7 June 1952) is an acclaimed actor from Northern Ireland. He has received numerous awards and nominations, including for an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, three Golden Globe Awards, and two Tony Awards. In 2020, he was recognized as one of Ireland's top film actors by The Irish Times. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2000.

Neeson began his film career in 1978 with Pilgrim's Progress. He gained early recognition with roles in films such as Excalibur (1981), The Bounty (1984), and The Mission (1986). However, he became a household name after portraying Oskar Schindler in Schindler's List (1993), directed by Steven Spielberg.
